Sukhoi Civil Aircraft RAS net loss narrows 72% in 2017

MOSCOW, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- The net loss of Russia’s Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, producer of Sukhoi Superjet 100 planes, narrowed about 71.5% on the year to 1.1 billion rubles in 2017, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Monday.

Revenue of the company increased 18.4% on the year to 55.4 billion rubles in 2017. Gross profit rose 5.5% to 4.695 billion rubles, while other incomes contracted 29.7% to 2.5 billion rubles.

The cost of sales went up 19.7% to 50.7 billion rubles, while selling expenses decreased about 60% to 669.8 million rubles. Administrative costs grew 4.2% to 2.05 billion rubles.

The company’s capital and reserves shrank 1.7% in 2017 to 63.54 billion rubles as of the end of the year. Long-term liabilities fell 11.7% to 12.2 billion rubles, while short-term liabilities rose 20.7% to 75.9 billion rubles.
